Our History
Bodegas El Cidacos Winery was founded by Perez-Marzo family in the first half of the 19th century. According to historical documents, Perez-Marzo supplied Rioja wines to the court of the Spanish Queen Maria Christina of Austria.
In the late 19th century, during phylloxera epidemic in Bordeaux, Bodegas El Cidacos mainly exported Rioja wines to France.
The modern history of the winery starts in the middle of the 20th century, when Bodegas El Cidacos completely rebuilt the factory and established a new bodega in the very heart of the Rioja Baja region near the river Cidacos.
We produce Rioja DOCa wines in a small picturesque village Tudelilla for over 60 years.
